No one would expect cold weather on June 14th in Utah but it was chilly at the Empire Canyon Lodge at Deer Valley in Park City. I don't think the bride and groom noticed though... they were so cute together and so obviously in love.
I think it's fun when a couple chooses unique music for the ceremony. Jonathan and Mallory requested Wachet Auf for the processional, Air on the G String for the bride's walk down the aisle and All You Need Is Love for the recessional. It worked so well.
We stopped at a waffle truck on the way home called "Saturday's Waffles" for some bananas foster waffles... um... words can't describe the yum.

Memory Grove
On Sunday, we played a lovely outdoor wedding at the Meditation Chapel at Memory Grove. The bride, Erika, is a ballet instructor, so the first people to proceed down the aisle were her ballerina students, who did not walk, but danced and twirled! With seven bridesmaids and seven groomsmen, she had a large wedding party. We played Jesu, Joy of Man's Desiring during the wedding party processional.
Then Erika appeared in a stunning and bright red dress. She was radiant. For the bride's processional, we played Pachelbel's Canon in D.
The officiant reminded the happy couple to be each other's best friend. I really loved that part of the ceremony. Always great advice.
For the recessional, we played the Brandenburg Concerto.
Best wishes from Strings of Elegance!
