Alena and Slovodan were married in the garden room at La Caille today. It was an intimate setting with just their closest friends surrounding them. We played traditional pieces for the ceremony, Canon in D, Bridal Chorus, and Mendelssohn's Wedding March. Alena loves Tchaikovsky so we played Waltz of the Flowers and Sleeping Beauty Waltz during the cocktail hour.

Rebecca and Michael
One of the weddings we played for was just featured on Truly Amazing. They were married at Millcreek Inn back in January. Congratulations Rebecca and Michael! Your winter wedding was truly memorable. It was an honor to play for your wedding.

La Caille
The flowers, the swans, the bunnies, the peacocks, even the sky collaborated today to create a stunning wedding ceremony at La Caille. We played traditional pieces for the processional with a twist for the recessional:
Procession: Canon in D
Bride's Procession: Bridal Chorus
Recessional: All You Need is Love
So sweet!

Melissa & Chase
This evening we played for a ceremony on the patio at the Grand America followed by a fun cocktail hour in one of their exquisite ballrooms.
Melissa and Chase wanted very personalized music. Here are their selections:
Procession: "Adore You" by Miley Cyrus
Bride's walk down the aisle: "All of Me" by John Legend
Recessional: "Without You" by Usher
We enjoyed being a part of this cute couple's big day!

"Benanna" Wedding
Ben and Anna were married this evening on the deck at Millcreek Inn. They jokingly call themselves "Benanna" now. This couple was all out adorable. Their ceremony was unlike any I've attended... and after playing for weddings for 12 years now that's saying a lot.
Prior to the ceremony the bride and groom shared their stories, first telling a little about their backgrounds, then their meeting and engagement. They wanted their families and friends to connect and understand the love that brought these two together... so sweet!
We played Bach's Arioso for the procession. For any brides who are undecided about what music to walk to go listen to this piece... it may just make up your mind for you.

Empire Canyon Lodge Deer Valley
No one would expect cold weather on June 14th in Utah but it was chilly at the Empire Canyon Lodge at Deer Valley in Park City. I don't think the bride and groom noticed though... they were so cute together and so obviously in love.
I think it's fun when a couple chooses unique music for the ceremony. Jonathan and Mallory requested Wachet Auf for the processional, Air on the G String for the bride's walk down the aisle and All You Need Is Love for the recessional. It worked so well.
We stopped at a waffle truck on the way home called "Saturday's Waffles" for some bananas foster waffles... um... words can't describe the yum.

Memory Grove
On Sunday, we played a lovely outdoor wedding at the Meditation Chapel at Memory Grove. The bride, Erika, is a ballet instructor, so the first people to proceed down the aisle were her ballerina students, who did not walk, but danced and twirled! With seven bridesmaids and seven groomsmen, she had a large wedding party. We played Jesu, Joy of Man's Desiring during the wedding party processional.
Then Erika appeared in a stunning and bright red dress. She was radiant. For the bride's processional, we played Pachelbel's Canon in D.
The officiant reminded the happy couple to be each other's best friend. I really loved that part of the ceremony. Always great advice.
For the recessional, we played the Brandenburg Concerto.
Best wishes from Strings of Elegance!
